The most important thing about Annika is that she is a fantastic teacher and a bottomless pit of enthusiasm. With her background in education and years of experience in the wide range of fiddling styles, she provides a perfect balance between teaching basic violin technique and introducing the reels, jigs and waltzes of the fiddling world. As an older adult beginner, I find the combination of great teaching and strong encouragement to be a perfect fit.

Lessons
I have been an elementary classroom teacher for six years and bring my background in education to my fiddle instruction. I primarily teach fiddle, but also teach beginning piano, guitar, mandolin, and ukulele to students of all ages.

We think Annika is a truly exceptional music teacher - she has gotten great results from our daughters musically, and she is also always working to support their communication skills, executive function, grit, and attitude. And somehow she does all this while also being super likable- our kids think she is cool!
