I I have two young children which limits my lesson schedule to school day hours.  I primarily teach at my home about 10 minutes north of Amherst, but also teach one day a week in Florence.

I balance my music instruction to include a strong foundation in music theory, while also regularly teaching by ear.  I believe technique is important to help us play well, and more critically to avoid injury.  I am well versed in supporting musicians of all ages find a set up with their instrument that feels comfortable and supports their playing.
